Maryland Chapter Meeting: January 22, 2024 - Anaphylaxis for the Hospitalist: Evidence-based Diagnosis, Management, and Pitfalls
This program is designed to enhance the knowledge and clinical skills of hospitalists in identifying and managing anaphylaxis. Participants will gain the ability to recognize key manifestations of anaphylaxis, identify potential mimicking conditions, and administer the most effective treatment with the appropriate dosage. They will also learn to communicate effectively within healthcare teams, apply evidence-based guidelines, use necessary equipment and medications, and address ethical and legal considerations in anaphylaxis management.
