CME Evaluation - Advanced Patient Safety - September 28, 2022
QSEA’s Patient Safety Advanced Module will present a framework for exploring the contextual and cultural aspects of the healthcare system and the clinical learning environment that impact both patient safety and patient safety educational efforts. The module will specifically describe the concepts of psychological safety and just culture and discuss the implications of each on the culture of safety in healthcare.
Learning Objectives
- Identify the organizational structures and behaviors that support a culture of safety in the clinical learning environment
- Describe the role that just culture plays in supporting an overall safety culture
- Define psychological safety and discuss strategies to promote it within your relationships and teams
- Explore the intersection of patient safety, professionalism, and learner wellbeing.
