Leadership Capstone Monthly Pod Calls
SHM’s fourth Leadership Academy, the Leadership Capstone Program, begins with a two-day live program. The high-touch course will focus on working on building teams, practicing leadership skills on real-world scenarios, and developing an action plan for a new or existing project at the learner’s institution. After the two-day course, the educational experience continues with monthly web calls, allowing participants to develop leadership skills in practice, with a trusted small cohort, over time.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the Leadership Capstone program, learners will be able to
- Appraise their own leadership ability and develop a professional development plan to enhance strengths and minimize blind spots.
- Plan and operationalize a transformative project, and audit gaps in active plans and projects at their institution.
- Assemble and lead more effective teams.
