Split and Shared Billing: Changes to Team Based Care and How Groups are Adapting
In November 2021, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) finalized a new time-based policy for Split or Shared Billing to account for when an E/M visit is performed by both a physician and a NP or PA in the same group. Groups are already seeing this policy disrupt current models of team-based care that have taken years to build and implementing it has added administrative burdens. Please join us on June 21 at 1 pm EST, to learn more about this rule and hear case examples of how groups are adapting to this change.
